Component 2: Statement of the Problem with Empirical Evidence

The problem statement is the heart of Chapter 1. It must never read as an emotional opinion. Formulate 3 to 5 clear, mutually exclusive Research Questions (RQs). Each RQ must map 1-to-1 to a corresponding Research Objective (RO) using strong academic verbs ("To evaluate...", "To empirically examine...", "To quantify the mediating effect of..."). For quantitative dissertations, present the directional hypotheses (\(H_1, H_2, \dots\)) derived directly from your conceptual model.
